Rev. Dr. Carl Nicklas, Principal
Dr. Nicklas has been an educator, counselor, and minister for over 25 years. In addition to serving as
Principal and Chaplain for Shenango Valley Faith Academy, he serves as a Christian Counselor at Transform Counseling Center and teaches part-time at the Pittsburgh Campus of the University of Phoenix. He earned a
Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University of
Pennsylvania; two Master of arts degrees from Liberty University, the
first in Church Ministries and the second in Human Services and
Counseling; and a Doctorate in Christian Counseling at Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camille, Georgia. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and has been recognized as a Board Certified Christian Counselor by the International Board of Christian Counselors. Dr. Nicklas is also a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor with the National Association of Christian Counselors. He is ordained with the World Congregational Fellowship Church, which specializes in providing credentials for chaplains and Christian counselors.
Mrs. Cara Print, Teacher
Miss Cara has been a dedicated teacher at Shenango Valley Faith Academy since the school's inception in August 2003. She received her Associates Degree in Applied Science from St. Phillips College in San Antonio, Texas. She lives in New Castle with her husband and mother where she is an active member of the First Church of God. When she is not teaching at our school she is usually involved with multitudes of activities with her grandchildren!
Miss Laura Nicklas, Teacher
Miss Laura was a member of the first graduating class of Shenango Valley Faith Academy in May 2006. She also earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Liberty University in August 2012. She has been serving as a teacher at our school since 2008 after serving a two year internship at the Honor Academy of Teen Mania Ministries in Tyler, Texas. She also operates an internet used book business---The Book Bunny.
